IT park project "CellSpace" - Softomatic

IT park project “CellSpace”

The Amur Region is a unique territory for the implementation of the project the CellSpace Technopark. The first stage will be the construction of a data center (Data Processing Center), or as it is also called, a data center, which is a separate building designed to accommodate equipment for processing and storing information, as well as various engineering systems that ensure the operation of the center.

For the implementation of this project, the Amur region is an ideal place, since there is excess power generation in the region, due to the fact that there are two large hydroelectric power plants in the region with a minimum number of consumers. In addition, the unique geopolitical location and free economic zone make it possible to consider China as one of the consumers of the services of the future Data Processing Center. It is also possible to send data through China to Europe through the data center.

The main purpose of the future Data Processing Center is to ensure the trouble-free operation of the enterprise information system with high levels of reliability, security and fault tolerance of technical sites. This is what will make it possible to create reserve headquarters of enterprises while maintaining the maximum possible functionality of the information system in emergency situations.

The implementation of this project will contribute to the creation of a modern technopark with a network of Data Processing Centers. The location chosen for the implementation of the project was chosen unique – on a hill. Since the geographic location of the future data center is the best on the planet, this will contribute to the unification of:

– research institutes;
– industry objects;
– exhibition centers;
– business centers;
– exhibition grounds;
– service facilities: means of transport, access roads, residential settlements, security.

In addition, this project will concentrate specialists with a single profile of activity on a single information platform.

The main consumers of the services of this technopark will be:

– Russian and Chinese mobile operators;
– Internet providers of the region;
– digital TV and radio broadcasting companies;
– research and educational institutions of the region; enterprises of the state and banking sector;
– Vostochny cosmodrome.

The basis of this data center will be complex professional engineering systems, such as:

– Electricity is the main source of life for a data center. In addition to being connected to power grids through independent “inputs”, container power plants will also be installed here, providing additional power;
– Air conditioning – overheating of the equipment is not permissible, and any computer technology emits a large amount of heat, therefore, the turbine room needs very good cooling, for which professional precision air conditioners will be used, as well as a freecooling system;
– Security – this system will include an access control system, a video surveillance system and others. For example, an aspiration system for super-early fire detection will help to avoid major disasters;
– Data transfer. A stable and uninterrupted data transfer process is essential for a data center. To provide it, both dedicated channels and public ones with a wide bandwidth will be used.
– Dispatching. Ensuring the stable operation of the entire data center is impossible without a monitoring and dispatching system that will conduct round-the-clock surveillance. The detected problems will be eliminated according to the developed algorithm. This can virtually eliminate errors and solve problems as quickly as possible.

Also, to increase the reliability in the Data Processing Center, redundancy of all systems will be organized.

The construction of the CellSpace data center will take about five years and will consist of the following stages:

– Pre-design stage – 2 months.
– Project and state. examination – 3 months.
-Working documentation – 3 months.
– Construction and equipment – 12 months.
– Commissioning – 2 months.

Project schedule

For the implementation of the project for the construction of the Data Processing Center, it is planned to attract private investments, the total volume of which will be approximately $ 300 million.

The design, design and implementation of the IT infrastructure in the data center will be carried out by the specialists of the Impulse Company, which has been the leader of the Amur Region in the field of IT technologies for over 12 years. Her specialization is the implementation of Linux-based information systems and free software.
